Background
Construction leadership shaped around accountability.
Before Y&CO, Cory spent more than twelve years as an executive leader in technology, responsible for teams, operating plans and complex budgets. That experience shaped how he aligns specialists, makes decisions with incomplete information and remains accountable for the result.
His path into construction began as a homeowner. Renovating his own house made the pressures of consequential design choices, uncertain existing conditions and budget decisions personal. He went on to buy and transform other Toronto houses before early client projects became Y&CO.
What Cory leads
One point of responsibility.
Cory stays directly involved through feasibility, early budgeting, planning, permits, construction and completion. He coordinates designers, engineers and trades so homeowners are not left managing the gaps between separate professionals.

Budget approach
Make costs and risks visible early.
No responsible contractor can promise that an older Toronto house will reveal no surprises. Cory’s approach is to identify risk before construction, connect design choices to the working budget and price changes before work proceeds.

Project proof
See the work in context.
The Galley Avenue case study shows how a narrow Roncesvalles house was rebuilt across three levels, opened on the main floor and extended at the rear under one coordinated budget and schedule.
