WINONA

The homeowners saw potential in a house that needed extensive work before they could comfortably move in. The goal was to create a warm, functional family home while keeping the best of its original character.

Y&CO updated the kitchen, three bathrooms and laundry, finished the previously unfinished basement and improved the home’s mechanical systems. The work also included replacing knob-and-tube wiring, windows, exterior repairs and new decks.

Instead of changing every wall, the team preserved useful existing elements, including original built-in cabinetry, and focused investment where it would have the most impact. Custom millwork and thoughtful finishes brought continuity to the spaces.

Completed over approximately six months, WINONA demonstrates how careful planning and selective preservation can create a home its owners are proud to share.
